This September, QT Canberra trades its usual mischief for Regency manners, in partnership with Canberra Theatre Centre. Expect lavish florals, a Pride & Prejudice-inspired QTea High Tea, and just enough scandal to keep Mr Darcy interested.
Before the curtain call, settle into The QT Lounge with a cup of tea and a bite, the perfect pre-matinee soiree.
Begin with a tiered affair, filled to the brim with heirloom pumpkin and Persian feta quiches, tuna and fennel tartlets and a Tasmanian smoked Salmon sandwich. Freshly baked scones arrive piled high with Chantilly cream and raspberry jam, one glorious cake from the wandering cake trolley, alongside a flowing milk chocolate fountain for good measure.
And for those who never could resist a little more, the roaming cake trolley makes its rounds, laden with Space Kitchen's Elizabeth Bennet strawberry mousse, lychee jelly and vanilla sponge cake and the Mr Darcy Roasted hazelnut praline, Nutella mousse, crisp crepe crunch and chocolate sponge cake with your name on it.
