The Lost Wonders of the City at Verity Lane Market

Event

A week-long, family-led evening experience transforming the city into a playful discovery hub as part of the Wonderful World Festival. Running nightly from 6pm, plus a Saturday afternoon animal garden, this free, drop-in program invites families to step into a series of imaginative, interactive encounters designed for all ages.

Pub Trivia:

Expect a lively, laughter-filled trivia night where questions span generations — from cartoons to classics — and the kids might just outsmart the adults.

The Travelling Curiosities:

Step into a moving world of wonder as short, roaming performances unfold around you — from magic and juggling to hula hoop artistry.

The Memory Makers:

Pull up a chair and join the action in this interactive, table-vs-table gameshow where collaboration is key. Expect "Family Feud"-style rounds.

Songs That Find You:

Settle in for an evening soundtracked by you. A live musician brings the room to life with audience-requested songs and heartfelt dedications — from nostalgic throwbacks to family favourites — creating moments of connection as stories are shared and memories are revisited between sets.

The Living Garden:

Slow things down in a welcoming laneway transformed into a gentle animal garden. With a supervised petting zoo to wander, connect and unwind.

Music Bingo Finale:

Close out the week with a high-energy twist on bingo, where songs replace numbers and everyone's invited to play along.
